After Immigration:
A New Chapter in Germany
Upon immigrating to Germany, I leveraged my background in IT to establish an IT company, Prosez, which specialized in developing and selling CRM software to the German market. Prosez achieved notable success, but as an immigrant, I faced challenges in expanding our market reach. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of networking and understanding local markets.
Even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I successfully sold Prosez. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of community and collaboration. Determined to foster these values, I co-founded LynkYard, a vibrant tech community aimed at bringing entrepreneurs and startups together. Through LynkYard, we created a platform for innovation, support, and growth, helping many businesses thrive.
Eager to deepen my knowledge, I pursued an MBA, which enriched my understanding of business dynamics and expanded my professional network. Armed with these insights, I ventured into the fintech sector, establishing FynTeq in Dubai. FynTeq focuses on transforming fintech solutions, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the financial technology landscape.
Before Immigration:
The Early Ventures
My entrepreneurial journey began in the bustling, energetic environment of a skating rink in Tehran, where I rented my first kiosk. This small but significant venture ignited my passion for business and taught me the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Encouraged by this initial success, I took a bold step forward and co-founded a family-run food industry business, IGOL. We focused on creating quality food products, which quickly gained popularity. To meet the growing demand, we expanded our operations by starting a food distribution company, ensuring our products reached a wider audience. However, the challenges of inflation prompted me to diversify further.
In response, I opened an iconic café, Gastu, in one of Tehran's most vibrant districts. Gastu became a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike, blending a unique culinary experience with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Despite its success, personal and economic circumstances led me to make a difficult decision: to sell my café and explore new horizons abroad.
